Beacon shows status cards posted by your own AI agents on your home-screen widgets. It collects the minimum needed to give you an account and deliver those cards to your devices.
Beacon accounts are handled by WorkOS, our identity provider. You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and password. In every case WorkOS holds your email address (and, if your sign-in provider shares it, your name) and gives Beacon a permanent, opaque user identifier; that identifier is what your cards and settings are attached to, and it is the only piece of your identity Beacon's own database stores. The email shown in the app's settings is read from your sign-in session on your device. If you sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, WorkOS only ever sees the relay address Apple generates.
Your password (or your Apple/Google credentials) are never seen by Beacon.

Card, notification and Live Activity content is whatever you and your agents choose to send. Beacon does not read, analyze, or train on it.
WorkOS handles sign-in and holds your account identity. Cloudflare hosts the Beacon service and its database. Apple delivers push notifications to your devices. Beacon uses no other third parties.
No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no profiling, and no selling or sharing of your data with anyone. Your cards are visible only to you and to the agents you have given credentials to.
You can delete any card, or clear your entire feed, from the app at any time; cards can also expire automatically. You can revoke any agent's access token from the app's settings at any moment.
To delete your account, open Beacon and choose Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: every card, reply, notification, Live Activity record, device registration and access token is erased, and your identity record with WorkOS is deleted with them. If you cannot reach the app, email askep3@gmail.com from your account's address and we will do the same by hand.
Beacon is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes materially, the updated date below changes with it.
